YIN YOGA LEVEL ONE IMMERSION

This training focuses on developing a strong foundation (the key to any yoga practice), with emphasis on the physical side of Yin Yoga. Plenty of time will be spent on the three main benefits or principles of Yin Yoga: the physical, mental/mindfulness & energetics. Alan will emphasize the difference between Yang & Yin Yoga as it relates to Yang & Yin Tissues in the body. Different types of tissues require different modalities of exercise.
Over the course of the 16 Hour weekend, you will learn the Elements & Fundamentals of a Yin Yoga Practice, Modifications & the sequencing of a Yin Yoga Class.
Having completed this 16 Hour Yin training, you should be completely comfortable to teach a Yin Yoga Class. You'll receive handouts of the class sequences learned, other useful resources on Yin and a detailed chart of the Meridians.

Tim Percival will teach this 1 hour Introduction to Yoga just for men! Modification options will be provided to suit all levels of student from Beginners to those looking for a refresher. Each week will be a review of the previous lesson, and time will be provided for questions. Participants will feel confident to attend our other led classes at the end of 4 weeks.
